Friends of the Library

Friends of the Palacios Library is a non-profit organization that was founded in the early 1990s to support both the Palacios and Blessing Libraries. The Friends also support the Summer Reading Program with refreshments and an out of town trip to students who complete the requirements requested. The students must read a certain number of books and present a book report in order to qualify.
You can become a Century Club member and help the children that go to the library by donating $100 to the Friends of the Palacios Library. Each year the Friends have a fundraiser, the third Saturday in October, called the Harvest Moon Ball.
